Li-Hsin Wang is an assistant research fellow at the Center for Textbook Research in NAER. He is also one of the editors of the Journal of Textbook Research and is a member of the textbook review and approval committee for elementary and junior high school textbooks. He obtained his undergraduate and master's degrees and interned as a teacher of junior high school. Later, he was rewarded a PhD in education and began professional career as an assistant editor at the National Institute for Compilation and Translation, where his responsibilities included editing elementary school social studies textbooks and the publishing of academic books. He also helped establish the Journal of Textbook Research and worked there as managing editor. Through the course of his work, he has also become very familiar with laws and regulations regarding textbook editing and publishing process.
