Jyun-Chen Chen received a PhD from the National Taiwan Normal University and is currently employed as an associate research fellow at the Research Center for?Curriculum and Instruction. His fields of expertise include digital learning, technology education, and science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education.
Chen hopes to employ technological aids in teaching and learning and to use education for talent cultivation and national literacy elevation. Chen has served as the leader of most of the research projects in which he has been involved. His competences include mapping digital learning platforms, organizing digital teaching materials and evaluation tools, developing learning models, and interpreting analysis results. Moreover, he is capable of implementing and promoting his research results in K-12 educational programs on a large scale; in other words, he can practically apply academic research to the education industry. Such research applications may enhance students’ literacy, learning effectiveness, learning motives, and teachers’ and students’ level of satisfaction with digital learning.
