After obtaining my PhD in physics from Tsinghua University, I worked at a semiconductor company. In 1997, I changed my career and transferred to Taiwan Provincial Institute for Elementary School Teachers’ In-Service Education as a researcher of science education. I have launched a new research topic, outdoor education, as chairperson of the Curriculum & Instruction Consulting Committee on Science and Technology Learning. Personal research review: from laboratory to classroom, and then from classroom to outdoors.
