Dr. Carol Ling-Yi Wang is an Assistant Research Fellow at the Research Center for Education Systems and Policy, National Academy for Educational Research (NAER), Taiwan. Additionally, she is an adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Taipei. She specializes in educational administration, educational technology, educational quality management, and professional development for teachers.
Wang obtained her master’s degree in educational technology from Tamkang University and obtained her PhD in education from the University of Taipei. She has been an Assistant Research Fellow in the NAER since 2012. She has conducted 15 research projects funded by the NAER or Ministry of Science and Technology and has published more than 70 Chinese and English papers, articles, chapters of books, and reports.
Wang also has 20 years of experience as a secretary and administrator. She has served as a confidential secretary at several places such as the Department of Education; Taipei City Government; NAER; and K-12 Education Administration, Ministry of Education. She was awarded the “Outstanding Service Award” by the Chinese Education Society Association and the “Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award” by the Taiwan Educational Policy and Evaluation Association.
