Hsiu-Chin Yang is a PhD graduate of the Department of History of National Chengchi University. Yang is currently employed as an associate research fellow at the Research Center for Curriculum and Instruction of the National Academy for Educational Research. Yang specializes in the history of communication and human rights in postwar Taiwan. Yang’s research interests include freedom of speech, changes in governmental systems, and the evolution of human rights laws. Most recently, Yang has been involved in the national-level curriculum guideline revision mechanism and research on transnational comparative history education.
