  Dr. Hsin-Ying Huang holds a master’s degree from the National Taichung University of Education and a PhD from National Chengchi University (NCCU). After completing her doctorate at NCCU, Hsin-Ying went to the University of Georgia as a visiting scholar. After returning to Taiwan, Hsin-Ying worked for two years as a Postdoctoral Fellow at National Taiwan Normal University. Hsin-Ying’s initial fellowship position was at the NAER in 2017. Dr. Huang’s research focuses on the large-scale educational assessment and psychological modeling used to evaluate educational outcomes. Her current research examines the effects of differential item functioning by using a mixture model for multiple groups. Moreover, Dr. Huang is the Principal Investigator responsible for developing and verifying contextual questionnaires in the longitudinal study on Taiwan Assessment of Student Achievement.
