Duties

 

The duties of this center are presented as follows: conduct basic and applied research on textbooks; evaluate textbooks of elementary and secondary schools; and archive, utilize, and promote textbook resources. Textbooks developed by the National Institute for Compilation and Translation contribute abundant research resources in this center. This center fulfills both theoretical and practical needs by integrating professional talents and resources. Research in this center focuses on the following topics: policies, systems, designs, applications, and issues pertaining to textbooks; instruction methods through textbooks; and digital textbooks. Such research is aimed at improving the quality of textbooks, refining teaching and learning through textbooks, and realizing the complete potential of the think tank on education policies.
