I am an associate research fellow at the Research Center for Testing and Assessment of the National Academy for Educational Research(NAER). I enjoy pursuit of knowledge because I believe the essence of research lies in understanding life experiences which facilitate proposing temporary answers to questions in life. Therefore, learning driven by interest is fundamental in the research process.
While I was a graduate student at the Department of Education of National Chengchi University, I was sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Technology(MOST, Taiwan) to participate in the Graduate Student Study Abroad Program(GSSAP), which culminated in a short-term study in the United States at the University of Pittsburgh. During almost a decade of service at the National Academy for Educational Research, I have been learning about various testing and assessment techniques and methodologies; moreover, my numerous experiences in participating in national research projects made me learn about the nature of research. The experience and knowledge gained through the aforementioned avenues will continue to provide motivation for self-development.
