National Academy for Educational Research

　　Jin-Chang is an associate researcher at the National Academy for Educational Research in Taiwan. I am guided by the belief that the essence of research is to address human needs and provide temporary solutions to life's enduring challenges. Central to this journey is the pursuit of knowledge driven by genuine interest.

　　While studying at the Graduate School of Education, National Chengchi University, I was privileged to be selected for the Ministry of Science and Technology's Thousand Horse Project, which enabled me to further my studies at the University of Pittsburgh, USA. Over the past decade, I have diligently honed my skills in Assessment and measurement methodologies and research techniques. My involvement in numerous national research initiatives has deepened my understanding of research content. This accumulation of knowledge and experience has been instrumental in my personal and professional growth.

　Currently, I am leading initiatives such as the Taiwan Assessment of Student Achievement: Longitudinal Study in I-Generation (abbreviated as TASAL in I-Generation) and co-chairing the Taiwan I-Generation Panel Study (TIGPS) and Progress in International Reading Literacy Study (PIRLS) 2026 projects. These roles allow me to leverage my expertise in large-scale educational assessment and reading comprehension assessment. My contributions in these areas are not only professionally fulfilling, but also play an important role in shaping national education policy.
