In doing so, it is expected to help nationwide educational field workers, educational researchers and educational decision makers to improve the quality and effectiveness of education.

Taiwan Education Resources Information Center

It collects all types of NAER resources for educational research, including full-text books, journal articles, seminar papers and project reports, as well as international educational information provided by the Ministry of Education overseas offices, which serves as an important reference for educational research, academic discussion and trend discussion of topics.

International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement (IEA)

As of April 2025, K-12 Education Administration the of the Ministry of Education has commissioned National Academy for Educational Research (NAER) to carry out two major international educational surveys organized by the International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement (IEA), including the Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS 2027) and the International Computer and Information Literacy Study (ICILS 2028). These surveys aim to assess the learning achievements of Taiwanese fourth- and eighth-grade students in mathematics and science (TIMSS 2027), as well as the computer and information literacy performance of eighth-grade students (ICILS 2028). By conducting these international assessments, we can not only obtain insights into our students’ learning outcomes, but also engage in cross-national comparisons and discussions on educational issues, while further strengthening the interaction and collaboration between the international educational research community and NAER.
