Ming-Hong Bai is an Associate Research Fellow at the Research Center for Translation, Compilation, and Language Education, NAER. He is working on several research projects, particularly in the fields of construction and the application of the Mandarin Chinese corpus and standard systems. His research interests include natural language processing, computational linguistics, natural language processing, machine learning, and machine translation.
Dr. Bai received a bachelor’s degree from the Department of Information and Computer Engineering, Chung Yuan Christian University, in 1993. He received a master’s degree in electronic and computer engineering from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology in 1995. He obtained his PhD in computer science from National Tsing Hua University in 2013.
In 2013, he joined the Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica, as a Postdoctoral Researcher. His research work focuses on Chinese natural language processing and machine learning. In October 2015, he joined the NAER as an Assistant Research Fellow.
