我國將本土語文教學正式納入學校教育之歷史已有一段時間,然而不少語文復振相關研究皆指出我國本土語文流失的速度並未減少。隨著十二年國教課綱即將於108年正式上路,全國中小學也開始各項推動新課綱之準備工作,有鑑於偏鄉地區教育資源較少,為關注偏鄉小學的本土語教育發展,本研究運用焦點團體座談以及個案研究,希望深度理解偏鄉小學準備推動閩南語及客語新課綱所面臨之挑戰、議題、以及所提出的配套建議,最終據以為正式推動十二年國教新課綱提出建議、也作為發展下一波本土語新課綱之參據。
Taiwan government has formally incorporated mother-tongue language teaching into the school education for several decades. Nevertheless, studies on language revitalization have pointed out that the rate of loss of native and indigenous language does not seem to have diminished. With the 12-year-basic-education will be formally on the road in the 2019 school year, elementary and higher schools across the country are starting preparations for launching the new curriculum. In view of the relatively scare education resources in rural areas, and mind of native languages teaching in rural elementary schools, the research utilizes focus group interviews and case study to investigate the issues, challenges, and policy suggestions while elementary schools’ preparation of launching the new curricular guidelines of native languages. Eventually, the research attempts to provide policy suggestions for officially launching the new curricular guidelines and the future development of curricular reform.
