臺灣近年來在語言政策上,採取多元語言平等發展的概念,推動中、小學的母語教學。然而,推動中、小學母語教學的師資參差不齊、各校的行政配合也影響著教學成效。本計畫以臺灣客家語實施現況為議題,旨在探討客語教學現況。研究面向包括:學校的客語教學規劃、行政配合與作為、客語師資素養與教學表現、學生客語學習態度與成效、家長對於客語教學的觀點與建議。研究方法包括:文獻與檔案分析、紙筆問卷調查、焦點座談及訪談。研究對象包括:與客語教學相關的學校行政人員與教師、擔任客語教學的教師、學生和家長。研究結果可用於我國未來客家語言教育政策與發展之參考。
In recent years, based on the concepts of equal development among different languages, Taiwan’s language policies encourage indigenous language teaching in primary and junior high schools, however, because of inconsistency in teachers’ qualification as well as the cooperation of each school, the results of indigenous language teaching vary. This project is to investigate the current status of Hakka language teaching, using samples from central and southern part of Taiwan. Specifically, the research topics include: planning of Hakka language teaching, cooperation from school administration, qualification of Hakka teachers and their teaching performance, students’ attitude toward Hakka language learning and their performance, and parents’ feedbacks about Hakka language teaching. The research methods include: literature review and summary, surveys through questionnaires, and panel discussions and interviews. The research counterparties included: relevant school administrators and teachers, Hakka language teachers, students, and their parents. The results of this research will provide references for education policies of Hakka language.
