Rudolf Steiner(1861-1925) built the first Waldorf School in 1919. Ci-Xin Waldorf School started in Yilan in 2002. The schooling of Ci-Xin Waldorf School bases on the Steiner’s idea of Anthroposophy, it combines will, feeling, and thinking to help children moving toward the freedom. For understanding the experience of practicing curriculum at the Ci-Xin Waldorf School, this article adopted an idea of aesthetics to describe curriculum quality and interpret its aesthetic implication at Ci-Xin Waldorf School. About the curriculum qualities at Ci-Xin Waldorf School, it includes three different dimensions: 1. color: it means that understand the development of children; 2. board painting and workbook: it means that focus on picture language and imagination, it also presents the spirit of teachers and students; 3. seasonal table: it means that interweaves nature and life world with each other. We get some implications from the point of aesthetics to interpret the above curriculum qualities, it includes: 1. the color implicates the aesthetic meaning of encounter, it stretches the real meeting between curriculum/instruction and students, it also brings the possibility of spiritual discipline; 2. board painting and workbook implicate the aesthetic meaning of oeuvres, it presents the better possibility of teacher’s working and student’s learning and it invites the idea of community of mutual learning; 3. seasonal table implicates the aesthetic meaning of rhythm, it means that connects the nature and life world. Seasonal table appears a dynamic learning of a whole continuity. Inquiring the curriculum qualities of Ci-Xin Waldorf School and its implication, it means that the idea of curriculum and instruction should move from the mechanical metaphor of education as produce to becoming metaphor of education as create.
