In recent years, it has been a common trend for many countries to ask students to afford more ration of educational cost. The result of raising tuition fees brought broad arguments in many countries because students from middle and lower income families cannot afford the raising fees from their universities and are forced to give up their studies at higher education level. In Taiwan, raising university’s tuition fee also catches the public’s eyes mainly. Therefore, this research via adopting the methods of document analysis, literature review and depth interview, mainly has the following purpose to review the university tuition policies in Taiwan in relation to the equity of educational opportunity. The finding from this research is expected to provide Taiwanese government further references regarding the possible strategies for altering and improving educational opportunity locally.
