　　學術名詞（academic term），或作術語（terminology)，乃指具有領域學術特點，並可構成該領域概念體系的名詞。對於瞭解領域知識，有著舉足輕重的地位。本院學術名詞資訊網現已提供140多類，超過140萬則的名詞資訊供使用者查詢及參考。目前名詞收錄方式，主要以領域相關書籍之索引詞彙作為基礎，經專家學者討論後收錄。然而書籍出版需時，新興術語難免有遺珠之憾。本研究採取藉由既有之網路術語資源，如維基百科、博碩士論文等作為新詞蒐集的參考來源，並結合統計分析，旨在利用網路資料豐富且更新迅速之優點，且經分析術語之間之關聯性後，除可提供領域新詞的參考列表，提升新詞蒐集的效能外，亦能提供學習者或研究者相關術語網絡。

　　Academic term, also known as terminology, which refers to nouns having the academic characteristics of fields and could build the concept of the field, has a pivotal position in understanding domain knowledge. National Academy for Educational Research (NAER) now provides more than 140 categories, 1.4 million terminologies for reference. Currently, the candidate terms are collected from the indexes of domain-related books, and experts will discuss and decide which terms to be included. However, book publishing takes a long time and the newest terminologies are inevitably not included in books. In this project, we use the existed terminology resources such as Wikipedia and Theses and Dissertations in Taiwan as the reference of new terminology candidates. By utilizing statistical analysis and the advantage of the rapid update rate of web resource, we expect to provide new domain term candidates to improve the efficiency of new term collection, and to provide researchers and learners term networks for learning.
