　　本研究目的如下，1.瞭解臺灣民眾對我國重要教育議題的看法、態度或支持程度。2.瞭解教育政策之實施與民眾看法或期待之差異。3.制定民意調查執行程序，提供民意調查研究者調查在研究方法上之參考。4.累積長期資訊以進行比較研究及紀錄臺灣教育之發展脈絡。5.藉由民意的蒐集，促進教育之利害關係人員的對話及資訊交流。提供一般民眾對於教育意見表達之有效平台。6.透過文獻探討、專家學者訪談與教育相關實務工作人員等之焦點團體座談，對照調查結果，回應當前重要教育議題，提供教育相關單位制定教育政策參考

　　 本研究於2005-20012年已進行8年之調查，故擬設定以8年為議題關注之期間，每年調查結束並會進行檢視並可做細部的調整。本研究之調查方法為對一般民眾採電話訪問調查，對象為全台年滿20歲之民眾，每次調查抽樣1068人以上。本研究並建有資料庫，提供歷年調查結果的查詢、比較及報告的下載等，以紀錄及保存歷年調查數值及文字資料，以供政策及研究需要之進一步參考及運用。 1.瞭解臺灣民眾對我國重要教育議題看法、態度或支持程度。 2.瞭解不同背景變項民眾對教育政策之實施與看法之差異。 3.將調查結果供中央教育主關機關制定教育政策上之參考。

　　The purpose of this study, (1) understand the Taiwan people's views on education issues,(2) to understand the implementation of education policy and public expectations gap, (3) cumulative long-term sex education in the public opinion survey information,(4) to provide space for people to have views of educational issues, (5) Findings provide education to the development of education policy reference. This study investigated the method is at least 20 years old people to adopt the telephone survey, each survey sampling to more than 1068 people. This study also has a database, calendar year findings of the inquiry and report downloads investigation of numerical and text data over the years to record and save for further reference and use of policy and research needs.
