　　語言與文化直接相關。在不同文化的衝擊與交流當中，除了思維模式、民族意識等相異外，語言因文化接觸而產生的激盪，自然對語言本身起了相當程度的變化。本計畫主要針對─「外來語」中的流行詞彙進行調查與研究。
　　本計畫擬以近十年國語之流行詞彙外來語進行蒐集及詞構分析，以了解外來語構詞方式，並作為辭典收詞及釋義的參考，並依照外國語言─英美語、日語、韓語與國語在交流中形成的語料來進行研究。
　　尤其是網際網路的使用率日漸普及，加速語言的交流，所以外來語有音譯、音譯加表意、音譯與意譯結合、直接借用四種主要形式是本計畫所要探討調查其生成時期及原因並予以分析。本研究亦探討國語外來語的生成、滲入、穩固或消失之形態變化。

　　Language and culture are directly related. In addition to the different mode of thinking, national consciousness, etc., the agitation cause from language and cultural contact, Language itself played a significant degree of change naturally, in shock and exchanges among different cultures. The project is mainly to investigate and research on loanwords. The scope of the study locked in popular vocabulary of Mandarin loanwords in the last decade.
　This project collect and analyze words structure about popular vocabulary of Mandarin loanwords in the last decade.Above all, we can investigate the method of their lexical structure.Secondly, it can be the reference of word collection and interpretation. We will study the language data that according to foreign languages─English,Japanese,Korean communicate with Mandarin.
Especially the growing popularity of Internet usage,this phenomenon is accelerating the exchange of language,so we have four main forms─transliteration,transliteration plus indicate meaning,transliteration plus meaning Interpretation,direct borrowing about Mandarin loanwords that was this project have to explore and investigate its cause and generate period.
　　This study have to discuss the morphological changes of generate, infiltrate, secure or disappear about Mandarin loanwords.
