Chief Secretary Chen Hsien-Shun, was a government-funded teacher training student at a teacher's college. He has served as a full-time teacher, part-time team leader, and president of the Teacher Association at a public elementary school. Afterward, he pursued further education, earned a master's degree, and passed the Civil Service Examination, leading to his assignment at the Taipei City Government Department of Education.
Upon entering public service, he recognized the importance of integrating theory with practice. He further pursued his education, earning a doctoral degree and an assistant professor certificate. He has taught at several public and private universities and published multiple works and books, with the aim of broadening his perspective on educational administration and academic research.
Throughout his career in public education, Chief Secretary Chen has held various positions, including primary school teacher, clerical officer, counselor, editor, reviewer, team leader, expert member, senior secretary, and acting chief secretary. He has always maintained a passion for education, a diligent and sincere attitude, and a friendly approach towards others, completing assigned tasks with enthusiasm and innovation.
